Meriton Suites Mascot Central

I have stayed at the Meriton Suites Mascot Central a few times now.  The rooms provide a relaxed home away from home feeling, sleep two people and are in a very convenient location.  Situated less than five minutes’ walk to Mascot station, it is an easy trip by train to both the airports and the city from there.

Should I stay in a Hostel?

Should I stay in a Hostel? The age-old question.  The traveller’s cost-benefit analysis.  The potential ‘pot of gold at the end of the rainbow’ – affordable travel.

Recently I took a quick hop up to Brisbane that was the result of a combination of several factors including a tough week at work, a glass of wine, and a Qantas sale.  But that’s a story for another day.  In order to reduce the financial impact of last-minute decisions I decided that since I was travelling solo, I’d stay in a hostel while I was there.  After all, it was only going to be one night, so how bad could it be?

Ramada Suites Albany New Zealand

254 Cornerstone Dr, Albany, New Zealand.  

I thoroughly enjoyed my 5 night stay at the Ramada Suites Albany in New Zealand.  My accommodation was on the third floor in a one bedroom apartment.  Located close to the Northern Motorway, it was a very easy 35 minute drive up from Auckland Airport to the hotel.  Reception staff were very helpful, and parking was readily available at the location.
